All .45s feature a truly magnificent set of Hardwood Grips with the Colt Double Diamond Pattern. The checkering is excellent, and nicely cut. These grips are correct for WWI and WWII issue sidearms as well as the comercial versions that were used by numerous law enforcement agencies, G-Men and famous Outlaws/Gangsters like John Dillinger who favoured this gun for it firepower and reliability. The Unites States Marine Corp .45 feature the same construction as our stock 1911, with the same quality grips. These Grips however have a raised "US" in the center. This pattern was requested and issued to WWII Marines. It is a super rare pattern, and if you are a WWII Marine re-enactor, this is the chance to have a gun no one else does.
